#Fashion# FASHION TIPS AND TRICKS

This tips and tricks are important in our every day dealings with our fashionable side, trust me on that : - Use white wine to remove the red wine stains from the spillage you had when laughing very hard at his jokes *wink*.

- Wash new jeans (twice) before you think of taking it to the tailor’s for adjustment; because jeans will always shrink in length when washed. - Remove odors from vintage or thrift store clothing (okirika) by spritzing them with a mixture of one part vodka and two parts water.

- If you get an oil stain on your favorite handbag, coat the mark with baby powder and let stand over night, by morning, the stain should be gone. If a bit still remains, repeat the process.

- Remove white deodorant marks from a garment by gently rubbing the prtective foam used on hangers against the fabric.

 – Jonathan Simkhai, designer. - To drop bloat five days before a big event, stay away from dairy and whole grains, which can do a number on the digestive system.

- Snap clip-on earrings onto flat to transform them to instant evening shoes or onto the collar of your shirt for DIY(Do It Yourself) embellishment.

- The secret to well fitting everyday clothes, LYCRA. The formula is to look for : 95% cotton, 5% Lycra spandex for shirts and at least 2% Lycra for jeans to shape.

- Always organize your clothes going from light to dark, from left to right in your closet, your eyes will follow the colors and this help you stay organized.

– Malanie Charlton - Never put on a garment immediately after ironing as this can actually cause new wrinkles to form. Instead, let it sit for at least five minutes to set the press.

-Althea Harper, Designer and Ronerta brand ambassador. - Dressy occasions are not the time to play with trends, so know your silhouette (body type) and stick to it. - Spray your leggings with sticky hairspray to avoid holes and runs.

- To clean off dirt from suede, remove the crust from read and let it become stale, gently rub dirt and stains with the edge of the stale bread and they will disappear. To re-scuff suede, use an eraser or nail file.

- Double stick tape work to shorten the hem of a garment in place if you can’t find or get a tailor before an event. - Blot, not rub, when you spill something on your clothes. wiping and rubbing will only push the stains further into the weaves of the fabric.
