#SERVES HER RIGHT# Woman Sentenced to 14 Years for Stealing N3.15 Million in Abuja

Don`t you think Nigerian law is only meant for the poor? A 22-year-old cashier, Mariam Salifu was sentenced to 14 years in prison for stealing N3.15 million belonging to her employers. The decision has been announced by an Abuja Magistrate Court, on September 9, 2013, Monday.

Mariam Salifu, residing at Karimo in the FCT, was arraigned on a two-count charge of criminal breach of trust and theft. The convict had earlier admitted to absconding with the money.
