Arsene Wenger received some heart-warming news as five players feared to have contracted injuries at the weekend reported for training.
Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna, Kieran Gibbs and Aaron Ramsey, who all hurt themselves in the 3-1 loss at home to Aston Villa, have all taken part in training ahead of the first leg tie in Istanbul.
Wenger will hope to have all five players at his disposal when they visit Fenerbahce on Wednesday.
Goalkeeper Wojchiech Szczesny says the Gunners must play with confidence if they are to establish a first leg lead away to Fenerbahce in the Champions League play-off on Wednesday.
Ten-man Gunners lost to Aston Villa in their first game of the new Premier League season at the Emirate Stadium on Friday, while Fenerbahce also lost 3-2 away to newly promoted Konyaspor on Saturday.
“It will be very tough but we are a confident team and if you want to play in the Champions League we should be going to Fenerbahce and getting a win,” the Poland international said.
The second leg of the Champions League play off comes up August 27.
