Blanc Set to Replace Ancelotti at PSG as the Latest Gist Links Rooney With Real.

Carlo Ancelotti.
After guiding Paris St Germain (PSG) to their first Ligue one title in 14 years, Carlo Ancelotti is finally on his way to the Bernabeu and will be keen on taking Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney along.

Wayne Rooney will meet his former coach at Everton, David Moyes, when the pair returns from holiday in the next few days, but should their talks fall through; reports suggest that Real are interested in signing the 27-year-old, just like Chelsea and Arsenal.

Daily mail reports that PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to be confirmed as the New Real Madrid coach on Monday as former Manchester United center-back Laurent Blanc will takeover from the Italian at the Parc des Princes Stadium.

Sport network owned and run by the same Qatari Sports Investment company in charge of PSG, beIN Sport revealed that the ex-France international and coach has agreed to sign a two-year deal and will be formalised next week.

Laurent Blanc.
“An agreement was reached today (Saturday) between Paris St Germain and Laurent Blanc for him to become the new coach of the capital club,” a statement read.

“An agreement between the former coach of the France team and PSG was reached for two years. It is planned that he will sign the contract next week.”

Rooney has two years left in his current contract at Old Trafford but is reported to be unhappy at the Manchester club. He is believed to be interested in working with Chelsea’s new manager Jose Mourinho, while Arsenal is also keen on the England international as the second largest shareholder of the north-London side, Alisher Usmanov, has backed the player to succeed at the Emirates Stadium.

It all boils down to who can afford a fee of £30m and match up his £250,000-a-week salary at United. Every finger points to Chelsea and Real, also bearing in mind the £70m made available to Arsene Wenger for the signing of top class players.

The Gunners are said not to be discouraged by Rooney’s wage that represents a paradigm shift in the club’s ‘socialist’ wage structure but the prospect of playing outside Manchester for the first time in nine years, the striker feels largely depends on United fans; who may be fed up with his second transfer request in as many years.

By the time Ancelotti will have been confirmed as Real coach, he will be handed a long list that should have Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and now Rooney.
