Brendan Rodgers Plans for More Signings as Liverpool Sets Out For Jakarta

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says he is looking to bring in more players over the next “three to five weeks” to strengthen his starting line-up.

Rodgers has already been busy in the transfer market and has captured Spanish duo Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas, plus Belgian international Simon Mignolet and experienced defender Kolo Toure.

“What we’ve done in the early part of the summer is to improve the squad,” Rodgers told Liverpool’s website.

“Now what’s important over the next three to five weeks is improving the team. That’s something the club is working very hard at.”

Liverpool’s pre-season tour will have them travel to Jakarta, Melbourne, Bangkok, Oslo and Dublin.
