Neymar Wants to Play With Rooney at Barcelona

Rooney’s future at Old Trafford has been beclouded by uncertainties since former Red Devil boss Sir Alex Ferguson disclosed on his last game in charge at Old Trafford that the England international has handed in a transfer request.

Since then the striker has been the subject of various transfer speculations with a move to Arsenal or Chelsea imminent, should talks with new boss David Moyes break down.
Meanwhile, Metro reports that the best player of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup Neymar has rolled out a welcome mat for the 27-year-old, urging him to try out the Spanish League.
The 21-year-old, who produced a dazzling goal-scoring display to inspire Brazil to a famous 3-0 win over the world champions at the Maracana on Sunday night said:
“The style of football we (Barcelona) play and the level of the players we have- we are the perfect club for the top players to join.

“I have met Wayne on a few occasions and he seems a good guy but importantly, he is one of the players I admire most in the world.

“Wayne is one of the most gifted and technical players in the world,” Neymar added.

“Of course he would improve Barcelona. He would improve any club in Europe. And on a personal level, it would be a dream to play with him.”
